Practical Driving Test

The driving test for a car is designed to show that you understand and can demonstrate your knowledge of the Highway Code and the theory of driving safely.

Category B&E Car & Trailer

Anyone acquiring a category 'B' (car) licence from 1st January 1997 cannot tow a trailer more than 750kgs. To obtain this licence you must pass the DSA 'B+E' (Car & Trailer) test to allow you to tow horse boxes / caravans / trailers etc weighing over 750kg gross weight.

Driver CPC Training

Driver CPC is a European Union directive that affects all professional LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) and PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) drivers.

For new drivers it introduces an initial qualification, the Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence), which increases the amount of knowledge that drivers need before they can drive.
