HGV and plant training in Dumfries
Our main centre at Heathhall, on the north side of Dumfries, runs every course we offer: lorry licences, Driver CPC, ADR, lorry loader, forklift and NPORS plant training.

We have trained drivers here since 2001, when Nithcree’s family haulage business opened its training centre. Plant training followed in 2024, when we became a registered NPORS training and examination centre. Read our 25-year story.
The centre is on Edinburgh Road (A701) in Heathhall, with our training yard and vehicles on site. It is a short drive from the A75 and the A74(M), so it is within easy reach for trainees from across Dumfries and Galloway, Carlisle and north Cumbria.
